Whether your preference is painting on wood or in the form of a sculpture, you'll find an array of different whimsical animals, yes - including chickens, available for adoption!
Most of my folk art collection has been in the form of whimsical, quirky chickens, cats, dogs and horses painted on 50+ year old, locally sourced barn wood. However, the wood is becoming more and more difficult to find (for free) or in the proper condition upon which for me to paint. What I am listing below are pieces that are currently available and ready to ship. This inventory will change and while I can recreate some pieces, they are NEVER exactly the same. Many folks have questioned this and my answer is simply this: When I go to draw and paint, it depends on my mood what comes out of my head. Some paintings are more quirky than others. What you will not find is a painting depicting anger or frustration. While I completely support art for displaying these emotions, I simply cannot let loose and paint when feeling either of those emotions. Thankfully, I'm a fairly happy go lucky gal and what ya get in return is art that makes ya smile! Not a bad trade off, in my opinion. Hopefully you feel the same!

Some photos were taken at a show and simply cropped to fit the online screen, while others are quick snapshots without thought to lighting or final destination. Please, ask for a different photo if you are interested in a piece that is not shown off properly!

Cooper was born in 2019 and sold to a teenager who fell in love at first sight! Each sculpture is named, given a backstory and includes an adoption certificate and gift box. While Cooper has been adopted, there are many still waiting for their forever homes!
*Keep in mind when purchasing a chicken from the coop - These chickens don't require feed, water or a fortified shelter!
